Rhodiola rosea extract inhibits thymus T-lymphocyte apoptosis in mice according to TUNEL analysis. The percentage of TUNEL-stained thymus T-lymphocytes of mice 24 h following caecal ligation and puncture performed 8 h following administration of Rhodiola rosea extract was determined by statistical evaluation of the histochemical images.
