JAK2 is a direct target of miR-204. A. The potential interaction between miR-204 and two putative binding sites in the JAK2 3’-UTR predicted by Target Scan. The mutant sequences are equivalent to the wild-type ones with the exception of mutations at the 3’ end of the target site.
