Fruits of the two cultivars were harvested at a similar stage of development, shrink wrapped, stored for 0, 7 and 14 days at 4°C, and then rewarmed at 20°C for 6 hours before unwrapping and taking pictures and performing measurements. Control fruit was left unwrapped for the whole period of time. The results represent the mean and standard deviation of four independent replicates for each sample. Different letters indicate significant differences between samples for each storage time (p-value <0.05).
