IMR-90s were treated weekly with 10 μM NtBHA (shaded circle), 100 μM NtBHA (solid circle), or 100 μM OtBHA (solid square). Representative growth curves (A) and total intracellular iron content (B) are shown. Curves were fit by point-to-point function. SV-IMR-90s were also treated weekly with 10 μM NtBHA (shaded circle), 100 μM NtBHA (solid circle), or 100 μM OtBHA (solid square). Representative growth curves (C) and total intracellular iron content (D) are shown. Curves were fit to a linear function; no significance difference in growth or iron content was detected between treatments. Slopes of curves for iron content were not significantly different from zero.
