Par17 interacts with Ca²⁺/CaM via its N-terminal extension. For the CaM coprecipitation experiment, glutathione-Sepharose beads loaded with 20 μg of GST fusion proteins or GST alone were blocked with 3% BSA in the incubation buffer.
