Lymphocytes from tumor-bearing and naïve mice were surface stained and analyzed by flow cytometry. Cells were gated to detect follicular (Fo), T2-MZP, and marginal zone (MZ) B cells in the (A) NTDLN (n = 10), (B) TDLN (n = 10), and (C) spleen (n = 4). (D) The absolute number of these three populations and (E) percent of lymphocytes are shown. Gating was originally drawn according to the splenic populations and then applied to lymph nodes. Cumulative data from four independent experiments are shown as the mean +/– standard error, with white bars representing the NTDLN populations and light gray bars indicating TDLN populations. Significance was determined using a Wilcoxon signed-rank test for paired samples with *p = 0.0156) and **p = 0.002.
