Quantile treatment effect estimates of the impact of a voucher offer on math National Percentile Rankings for the second year after random assignment

Notes: Figure shows QTE for the effect of being offered a voucher for private school on math National Percentile Ranking scores from the Iowa Test of Basic Skills in the spring after the second year of voucher distribution. Estimates are weighted using inverse propensity score weights. Weights are 1/ for treatment observations and 1/(1 − ) for control observations, where is generated from a logistic regression of treatment status on baseline demographics, sample design variables, and baseline test scores. 95% CIs are obtained by bootstrapping families with replacement. Data from the New York City School Choice Scholarships Program evaluation conducted by Mathematica Policy Research.
