The results are averaged alongshore and over January in the last two years of the simulation. Importantly, extensive anaerobic remineralizations implied by reduced nitrate and maximum nitrite concentration occurred in 100–150 km from the coast at the depth of 100–200 m. Those high remineralizations correspond to the higher organic particle export at 50 to 150 km offshore.
