Treatment with β2GPI and reduced β2GPI decreased the expression of collagen IV in high glucose-indued RMCs. A and B. Quantification of collagen IV expression in high glucose-induced RMCs was performed using quantitative real-time RT-PCR and western blot. The mRNA and protein expression of collagen IV were significantly increased after high glucose stimulation. However, the elevated expression levels decreased after β2GPI and reduced β2GPI treatment with high glucose stimulation. Data are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M.. *P<0.05 vs. normal gluose group, #P<0.05 vs. high glucose congtrol group.
