Effect of methanethiosulfonate reagents on EL1 cysteine mutants. Hela Cells expressing SERT EL1 mutants were treated with 1 mM MTSEA (EA), MTSET (ET) or MTSES (ES) for 10 min and then assayed for 5-HT influx, as described under ‘Experimental procedures’.
