Induction kinetics of PspaS-lacZ expression by subtilin-like lantibiotics and their succinylated variants. The β-galactosidase activities of the untreated control (black rhombus) and after induction with various concentrations of the lantibiotics were monitored in a ΔspaS PspaS-lacZ reporter strain (B6633.MB1).
