(A) The blood vessels are more numerous and dilated in the psoriatic plaque dermis compared to (B and C). Also, no CD34 positivity was found in interstitial cells in the papillary dermis. (B) In the papillary dermis of uninvolved skin, telocytes (TC; blue arrows) appear positive for CD34 in the vicinity of blood vessels. (C) The presence of CD34-positive telocytes (TC; blue arrows) was also noted in the papillary dermis of treated skin, with telopodes running parallel to the basement membrane of the epidermis.
