Overall base-substitution (A) and indel mutation rates (B) separated into 100-kb (outer), 25-kb (middle), and 5-kb (inner) bins extending clockwise from the origin of replication (oriC) to reveal broad and local properties of intragenic variation in mutation rates of B. cenocepacia. Mutation rates were analyzed independently for each bin size, so color shades in smaller bins do not directly compare to the same color shades in larger bins. The 0.164-Mb plasmid is not to scale.
