Male C57BL/6J mice at 10 wks of age were treated with PG (50 mg/kg) or PBS (as the vehicle control) 2 h prior to and immediately following intraperitoneal injection of 20 ng LPS. Four hours thereafter, mice were sacrificed, and leukocytes were prepared from the blood, BM, spleen and cervical LNs. Subset frequency was determined by single cell suspension immunofluorescence staining and flow cytometric analysis. Absolute numbers for individual subsets were calculated from total cell counts and subset frequency. All data are mean and SD. Welch’s unpaired T test, *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01 compared to vehicle treatment. n = 5 mice in each group.
