Nicotine-induced alterations in expression of synaptic plasticity genes in the hippocampus, PFC, and amygdala of the HIV-1Tg rats. Genes exhibited significant alterations in the brain following chronic nicotine treatment in HIV-1Tg rats (p < 0.05 and fold ratio >20 %).
