Mucinous adenocarcinoma in situ. A, This mucinous AIS consists of a nodular proliferation of mucinous columnar cells growing in a purely lepidic pattern. Although there is a small central scar, no stromal or vascular invasion is seen. B, The tumor cells consist of cuboidal to columnar cells with abundant apical mucin and small basally oriented nuclei.
