Effect of ethanol extract of A. princeps on biofilm formation by MRSA. MRSA was inoculated into BHI broth with various concentrations of A. princeps and incubated for 48 h at 37°C. The biofilms that formed on the dish surface were measured by staining with 0.1% safranin. The bound safranin was released from the stained cells with 30% acetic acid, and the absorbance of the solution was measured at 530 nm. Data are represented as mean ± standard deviation. ^* P < 0.05 compared to the control group.
