The retina appears normal in the fundus photograph, but extensive loss of outer segments is revealed in the superimposed montage of AOSLO images. Dropout is visible everywhere in the AOSLO montage, but increases sharply at 6.5° (arrow) from the optic disc coinciding with the border of the subject’s enlarged blind spot.
