Recombinant proteins lipocalin 2, cyclophilin A, trappin-2 or HE4 were added to the TZM-bl reporter assay at 0.1–100 ng/ml, in the presence of A) mock-inoculated End1 CM, or B) A. vaginae-inoculated End1 CM. CM was added at 4X concentration in all conditions. Asterisks (*=p<0.05, **=p<0.01) indicate an increase in RLUs compared to control condition containing CM without recombinant protein. n = 3–5.
