In these studies cells were preincubated with 1 ml of PKC pathway activator (phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate) and PKC pathway inhibitor (bisindolylmaleimide I) and the uptake of [3H]Folic acid was measured. Values are means ± S.E. of five separate uptake determinations.
