The db/m mice were intragastrically administrated daily with normal saline containing 0.01% DMSO, as the vehicle, (normal control). The db/db mice were intragastrically administrated daily with vehicle (vehicle control), ZG01, or ZG02-ME, respectively, for one week. The blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and serum insulin were measured as described in the methods.
