Myeloid-specific Abca1−/− and control wild-type mice were gavaged with GW3965 (40 mg/kg) for 3 days, followed by challenge with LPS (1 mg/kg) by intraperitoneal injection. 2 hr later, spleens (upper) and lungs (lower) were harvested, RNA isolated and gene expression analyzed by real-time PCR.
