Table 6. Parameter values used in simulations to examine accuracy and bias in parameter recovery.

Simulation a Ter η sz st z/a v1 v2 v3 po
Set 1 0.1 0.4 0.1 0.02 0.15 0.5 0.2 0.1 0.00
0.2 0.2 0.06 0.04

Set 2 0.1 0.4 0.1 0.02 0.15 0.3 0.2 0.1 -0.2 0.00
0.2 0.2 0.06 0.5 0.04
0.08 0.7

Note. The parameter sets are produced by the combinations of the parameters, a, η, z/a, and po. The combinations involving sz depend on the values of a and z/a. For parameter set 1, when a is 0.1, sz is 0.02 or 0.06, when a is 0.2, sz is 0.02 or 0.08. For parameter set 2, for all combinations of the other parameters, one set has sz=0.02. When z/a=0.5 and a=0.1, one parameter set has sz=0.08 and when z/a=0.5 and a=0.2, another parameter set has sz=0.08. When z/a=0.3 or z/a=0.7, the only value of sz is 0.02.
