(a) Pharmacological inhibition of ERK1/2 and JNK pathways by MEK (U0126 - 5µM), JNK (SP600125 -10µM) and p38 (SB203580 - 10µM) inhibitors resulted in amelioration of cocaine-mediated induction of Egr-1. (b) Pretreatment of cells with MEK (U0126 -5µM), JNK (SP600125 -10µM) and p38 (SB203580 -10µM) inhibitors resulted in amelioration of cocaine-mediated induction of GFAP.
