Loss of Sparc suppresses the in vivo tumor growth and proliferation of p53‐null astrocytes. Intracranial xenografts of p53‐null/Sparc‐wt and p53‐null/Sparc‐null astrocytes were assessed at 7 days post‐implantation. Brains were harvested, formalin‐fixed and paraffin‐embedded. Tumor xenograft sections were H&E stained and immunohistochemically stained for mouse SPARC and the proliferation marker Ki‐67. Magnifications as indicated.
