Kinetics of [11C]1 and [18F]1 in isolated rat hearts. The radiotracer is infused at very low concentrations into the heart for 10 min to measure the tracer uptake rate into cardiac sympathetic neurons (Kup; mL/min/g wet), then the heart is switched to normal heart perfusate to measure tracer clearance rates over a 2 h period.
