Induction of luciferase activity in a dose-dependent manner. Cells were incubated with increasing concentration of HQ(a) and BQ(b). Maximal stimulation reached at 60 μM of HQ and 50 μM of BQ. Around 2.5 fold increases luciferase activity was seen following treatment with 1 μmol/L BQ and ~ 2.4 fold by 2 μmol/L HQ.
