TLI significantly induced the mRNA expression of adipokines in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were stimulated with tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α (10 ng/ml) alone or in combination with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (10 ng/ml), or LPS and interferon (IFNγ) (10 ng/ml) for 6 h. Then mRNA expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase, cyclooxygenase-2, interleukin-6 MCP-1, and resistin was evaluated.
