Insulin response is impaired by CD feeding in SD, but not in TG rats. (A) Glucose plasma concentrations after insulin injections (0.6 IU insulin·kgbw−1, s.c.). The maximal glucose decrease was lower (C) and both the half-life (B) and the AUC (D) were higher in SDCD than in SDcontrol, indicating impaired glucose utilization.
