In total, three steps are involved in the prioritization process. Step 1. DMRs are filtered, and those coupled with at least one gene (coding or noncoding) are retained. Step 2. Based on expression alteration, conservation, genomic features and dynamic variations of DNA methylation, DMRs are ranked to generate individual ranks. Step 3. All individual ranks are aggregated based on order statistics.
