Morphological analysis of the effects of juglone on DMN-induced liver damage in rats. (A) Normal control group exhibited a normal and even surface. (B) DMN control group exhibited numerous macronodules in the liver. (C) Tissues from rats treated with DMN + silymarin exhibited a normal even surface. (D) Tissues from rats treated with DMN + 200 mg/kg juglone exhibited marginal damage. (E) Tissues from rats treated with DMN + 400 mg/kg juglone exhibited a smooth and even surface.
