Fig. 1 — Angiographies showing the position of the wire for in vivo measurements. An angioplasty was performed (pictures took for patient 1) in the left anterior descending artery (not shown). Access was obtained via the radial artery using a 6 Fr XB 3.5 guide catheter. It was then used to insert a ComboWire^® allowing coronary blood velocity to be measured. Angiographies were taken from two different angles to visualize the position of the measurement point at a central position (right, zoom).
