Ocular photodetection. (A) Exposure to a light stimulus triggered a significant decrease in pupil diameter in WT mice but not in Bst+/− mice, indicating that PLR in Bst+/− mice is impaired. (B) Mice actograms were used to record circadian rhythm wheel-running activity for WT and Bst+/− mice. Similar wheel-running activity patterns were observed in WT and Bst+/− mice, showing normal circadian rhythms preserved in Bst+/− mice.
