Modelling of the stochastic inflow: probabilistic collocation (PCM) samples of the velocity inflow profile on a uniform 6×5 (σ1,σ2)-grid. At each grid point, a total of 64 samples is used to integrate out the randomness introduced by (ξ1,ξ2) in equation (3.13). Note that σ1 controls the skewness of the inflow profile, while σ2 acts as a noise amplifier. (Online version in colour.)
