Effects of oral administration of the E, H, EA, or B fractions of Pereskia bleo Kunth leaves on the capsaicin-induced biting model. Control groups were composed of vehicle. Results were presented as mean ± S.D. (n = 6–10) of the time (in seconds) that the animal spent biting or licking the capsaicin-injected paw. Statistical significance was calculated by ANOVA with Bonferroni's test where p < 0.005 when comparing E, H, EA, or B fractions-treated mice with vehicle-treated group.
