The effect of BPA13 on α-MSH-mediated melanogenesis. B16F10 cells were co-treated with α-MSH and BPA13 (at different concentrations) or kojic acid for 24 hours. Melanin contents are expressed as mean values of percentages versus control cells treated with α-MSH alone. The asterisk denotes statistical significance between control cells and the cells exposed to BPA13 or kojic acid. **P<0.01; ***P<0.001.
