Expression of Prx1 and its regulation of the ASK1-mediated signaling pathway for the activation of p38. DOK cells were transfected with control and Prx1 shRNA vector. Following transfection for 48 h, cells were treated with 5 mM H₂O₂ for the indicated times, and cell lysates were subjected to immunoblot analysis with anti-Prx1, anti-p-Thr845 ASK1, anti-ASK1, anti-p-p38, anti-p38 or anti-β-actin antibodies.
