Apoptosis inhibitor of macrophages (AIM) interacts with insulin-like growth factor binding protein-2 (IGFBP-2) and IGFBP-3, but not IGFBP-1, -5 or -6. The 293 cells were co-transfected with HA-AIM and FLAG-IGFBPs (1, 2, 3, 5 or 6) for 24 h and subsequently lysed.
