Gene expression differences between Ward's retinoblastoma cluster 1 (red symbols) and Ward's retinoblastoma cluster 2 (green symbols) appears continuous, not dichotomous. Gene expression of the photoreceptor signature is given by crosses; triangles indicate the M-phase and mRNA/ribosome synthesis signature. Tumors are sorted by photoreceptor signature gene expression.
