Cells were cultured for 24 h in the presence of 5 at the indicated concentrations, alone (solid lines) or combined with the general caspase inhibitor z-VAD-fmk (dashed lines). Subsequently, phosphatidylserine exposure (triangles) and cell membrane permeabilization (squares) were analyzed by flow cytometry after staining with annexin V-DY634 and 7-AAD, respectively.
