Murine postnatal pancreas contains colony-forming progenitor cells. Pancreata (n=2 or 3) procured from 7- or 8-day-old mice were dissociated into single cell suspensions and plated into semisolid media containing either Matrigel (5%), aECM-scr (100 μg/mL), or aECM-lam (100 μg/mL).
