(a) Kaplan–Meier survival curve shows the survival rate of Tph2 null/null pups (n = 61) within the first 35 postnatal days in comparison with wild-type (n = 64) and Tph2 flox/flox (n = 70) siblings. (b) Animals of the three genotypes were weighted weekly for the first 10 postnatal weeks. The graph shows that Tph2 null/null mice display a significant weight reduction compared to wild-type and Tph2 flox/flox during the first 7 weeks after birth.
