Western blot analysis of phosphorylated eNOS (p-eNOS) at Ser1179 and eNOS level in BAECs pretreated with (a) vehicle, AFC (50 μM) or AUDA (10 μM) for 2 h or (b,c) transfected with vector, Ptmut, Ehmut, N-ter or C-ter for 48 h, then simvastatin (10 μM) for 0–120 min. Data are mean ± SEM from 5 independent experiments. *P < 0.05 vs. vehicle- or vector-treated cells, #P < 0.05 vs. simvastatin-treated alone cells.
