BEAS-2B cells were transfected with either p53 or p21 luciferase report for overnight, followed by treatment with arsenic at doses of 2.5 μM and 5.0 μM for 24 hr. The cells were harvested for luciferase assay. B, BEAS-2B cells were treated with 2.5 μM and 5.0 μM of arsenic for 24 hr. RNA was isolated from the cells and subjected for RT-PCR analysis.
