These analyses show that some genes are commonly modulated by PARylation inhibition. Interestingly, most of them are differentially modified at different genomic regions of the gene. For instance a particular gene is hypermethylated at the promoter region while it is hypomethylated within the gene body. The function of such differential patterns remains to be elucidated.
