TNF-α production was decreased after PBMC pretreated with the pm26TGF-β1 peptide (1 μM and 10 μM; P < 0.05) and 100 μM (P < 0.0001). PBMC pretreated with the peptide followed by stimulation with LPS showed no difference compared to LPS/TGF-β1.
