The retrohepatic inferior vena was reconstructed with the following autogenous veins: part of the retrohepatic inferior vena with no invasion (A); the bilateral great saphenous vein (B and C); the middle hepatic vein with no invasion (D); the inferior mesenteric vein (E); and part of the side wall of the infrahepatic inferior vena (F); these veins made a vena cava vessel that was 5 cm long and 3 cm in diameter (G); a triangular opening in the upper anatomy was used to preserve the anatomy with the left hepatic vein in part because of a lack of the autogenous vein (H).
