Real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western blot analysis of the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), and placental growth factor (PLGF) from Embryonic day 6 (E6) to Embryonic day 8 (E8). (A) The mRNA levels of VEGFA, VEGFR2, and PLGF in folate-deficient mice were significantly decreased compared with normal mice from E6 to E8 (** p < 0.01).
