HAX-1 knockdown inhibits cell proliferation in SMMC-7721 cell. A. SMMC-7721 cells were transfected with HAX-1 siRNA or control siRNA. 48 hrs after transfection, cell lysis were collected and indicated protein levels were examined by western blot. β-Actin was used as a loading control. B. Cell proliferation was measured using the CCK-8 assay. Cell Counting Kit-8 reagents were added to the medium and incubated for additional 2 hours before absorbance was measured.
