24 hours after the bacterial challenge mice were sacrificed and livers were removed to assess viable counts. Each point represents the bacterial counts from a single mouse. Bars indicate the median CFU/100 mg of kidney for the group. P value was < 0.05 (*P ≤ 0.05, **P≤ 0.01) for comparison between the animals immunized with the antibodies raised against the recombinant proteins and control animals immunized with NRS determined by analysis of variance for multi-group comparisons using on log-transformed data, and Kruskal-Wallis test.
